• 210T taffeta outer tent with 2000mm waterproofing
• 5000mm waterproof rating on the 210D Oxford floor
• Dome design sets up in minutes
• Fits four campers or two cots

Good fit for

This tent suits families or small groups who need reliable shelter for three-season trips. The 6.8 by 7.8 foot footprint provides ample room for four people or two cots, along with gear storage. The quick dome setup appeals to campers who prioritize convenience over minimalist weight. If you plan to camp in moderate rain, the 5000mm floor and 2000mm fly offer solid protection without the complexity of more technical shelters.

Who can skip it

You should look elsewhere if you are a solo ultralight backpacker. At 12.3 pounds, this tent is heavier than most dedicated backpacking options. The packed size of 9 by 9 by 19.6 inches also takes up significant space in a pack. Additionally, the 4.9 foot center height may feel restrictive for taller users standing upright inside. If you prioritize minimal weight and compact packing size, a lighter, smaller shelter is a better fit.

Verdict

The OneTigris JOVIAN is a practical, spacious choice for family camping and group trips where setup ease and weather protection matter more than ultralight weight.
